Roses were enjoyed by the long-ago civilizations of Greece, Egypt and Rome, and the different shades that roses come in symbolize different things: crimson means romance, ivory means harmony, and blush and lemon mean amity. Madonna lilies, oriental lilies, and tiger lilies are a few of the varieties of lilies available. The Madonna lily has been around the longest. It originated in ancient Egypt and Greece. The Modonna lily has a rich exotic scent, that is also recognized as an aphrodisiac, making it another great option for Valentine’s Day.
